       Krakow’s Best: Museums and Galleries

Krakow has dozens of museums, which are very
varied in character. The Royal Castle at Wawel offers
visitors the chance to see collections housed in the
royal chambers which date from the time when the
Polish kings resided here. The National Museum has
rich collections of Polish art housed in a number
of branches in the city centre. Schindler’s Factory
is one of the most visited museums in Poland. K A RMEL I CKA

                  One of the best collections
                   of 20th-century Polish
                   art is housed here. The
                  collection of Modernist
                 art is particularly rich, and
               includes excellent sculptures
               by Konstanty Laszczka.
