                                               Auschwitz (Oświęcim)
                                               The name Oświęcim may
                                               have little meaning for most
                                               foreigners but the German
                                               name, Auschwitz, is a synonym
                                               for the crimes of Nazism.
                                               During World War II the Nazis
                                               established Auschwitz (see
