Y oung squirrel monkeys love to play. Jumping, chasing one

another, and pulling the tails of adults are some of their
favorite games. Squirrel monkeys have the biggest brains for their size

of all monkeys. Like humans, playing is how they learn. They usually
live in groups of forty monkeys, but sometimes there are more than

                         two hundred.

Squirrel monkeys chatter and twitter in the treetops, sounding like a

flock of birds. When one finds juicy fruits or insects to eat, the rest of
the group gathers around. To help others follow it, a squirrel monkey

will wipe pee on its hands to leave a smelly trail behind.
