                        C       lownfish live on coral reefs, the most colorful habitat in the sea.



                                If you want to see one of these fish, you need to look for a

                         sea anemone first. An anemone looks a bit like a plant, but it is an
                         animal, too, with many fingerlike tentacles. It loves having clownfish

                         around, because the fish clean it and fan fresh water over it. It even
                         feeds on clownfish poop! However, the clownfish don’t work for free.

                         In return for their help, the anemone protects its fish friends from
                         bigger fish. Anemone tentacles have painful stingers that most fish

                         don’t like to touch. Clownfish are covered in thicker slime than
                         other kinds of fish, though, and can safely snuggle among the

                         stings without being hurt.
