Dolphin








                D        olphins are the biggest show-offs in




                         the sea. They are very intelligent
                animals and always seem to have time
                to play. You often see them jump into

                the air or race beside boats. They

                love games of tag and trying to
                balance seaweed on their noses.
                Sometimes they blow giant bubbles underwater.

                It certainly looks like they’re having fun!


                Bottlenose dolphins stick close together.
                Each family has two to fifteen dolphins,

                and if one of them is hurt or sick, the
                others help it. Dolphins hunt with sound.

                They make clicks, which echo off objects
                so they can build a sound picture of

                everything around them.
