Dolphin
D olphins are the biggest show-offs in
the sea. They are very intelligent
animals and always seem to have time
to play. You often see them jump into
the air or race beside boats. They
love games of tag and trying to
balance seaweed on their noses.
Sometimes they blow giant bubbles underwater.
It certainly looks like they’re having fun!
Bottlenose dolphins stick close together.
Each family has two to fifteen dolphins,
and if one of them is hurt or sick, the
others help it. Dolphins hunt with sound.
They make clicks, which echo off objects
so they can build a sound picture of
everything around them.
