The heart of Córdoba is the old Jewish
quarter, situated to the west of the
Mezquita’s towering walls. A walk
around this area gives the sensation
that little has changed since the 10th B L A N CO
century, when this was one of the great B E L M O N T E
est cities in the Western world. Wrought
ironwork decorates cobbled streets
too narrow for cars, where silversmiths
