CHANGE THE FORMAT
Switching format is a quick and
easy way to change a composition.
A landscape format helps to convey
width, whereas a portrait emphasizes
height, which is ideal for large, open
interior spaces. The best format depends
on the size and shape of the subject—and
ultimately the width of your lens. Here,
a landscape format was chosen to
emphasize the wide space.
THE RESULT
The strong diagonals of the architectural features give the final shot ISO
dynamism and visual interest. This has been emphasized by tilting A f/5 1/20 320 AW B
the camera slightly upward to eliminate any horizontal lines. SEC
