Mr. Braun, first of all, when and how did the
KIKU apple reach your hands?
It was November 1990, when my fa-
ther travelled to Japan looking for strains
of Fuji and he found this beautiful strain,
which strucked into his glance because of
it was more colored and striped. His taste
was super. So, he brought it to Italy, he cul-
tivated the first treed and after some years
of evaluations he chose the better type
and invented the Kiku Trademark.
Ever since you started marketing KIKU,
you have not stopped exporting it to new
markets. What’s the presence of KIKU
around the world today?
