Although Debbie Reynolds

is a physical education

major and Katherine

Prichard is majoring in

biology and elementary

education, both share an

interest in medicine,

Debbie hopes to pursue a

graduate degree in sports

medicine. Katherine plans

to enroll in medical

school. Debbie shares

with Katherine some

brochures and information

sheets she has received

from a local hospital.

Chad Willman prepares to

ignite the rocket he and

his group built for their

Earth Science class.

Using principles they

learned in class, each

group built a rocket from

plastic two-liter soda

bottles. Mrs. June

McBride, assistant

professor of natural

science, held a

competition to see which

rocket would soar the

farthest distance. Chad’s

rocket was the winner

among the student-

designed rockets.

However, the maintenance

department built a double

chambered rocket that

outdistanced all the others

and ended up landing

somewhere in the woods!
