.IFE
ife on campus for the average student is filled
with hours of practice, research, and study. The
busy days are thankfully punctuated by Chapel
— a time of spiritual renewal for the campus
family. Many enter chapel already weary from
morning classes but leave minutes later,
refreshed and ready to tackle the afternoon.
Another source of constant renewal is the
friendships, which are established on Biblical
principles.
When students get together in small or large
groups, there is a love and a caring for one
another that are not easily found on secular
campuses across the country. The students
express a genuine compassion that is rooted in
the love of God.
God has given the students an insight to see
when someone else is in need and has supplied
them with the initiative to try to help. Many
times a fellow student has had a “bad” day.
Another reaches out to that individual and
comforts him or her with a quiet smile or some
words of encouragement. Often simple acts of
faith are the ones remembered most and the
ones which are an impetus for a changed life that
is, from that point on, lived to the glory of God.
