PETER ALAN FERNANDEZ
Entered 1951
Florida State
With the valuable ability to accept life as it conies, Pete has
plowed his furrow deep into the heart of Trinity School. He
has managed to prove beyond doubt that the reaction between
Carbon-Hydro-Iodinic-Carbon-Oxide (formula—CHICO) and
Potassium Silly-Cates leaves both with a headache. A Latin
lover, Peter’s happy and expectant grin has won over the hearts
of many young ladies (though not yet those of the faculty). Our
Peter’s greatest ambition in life, good citizen that he appears to
be., is to get a job waving good-by to people at La Guardia
Airport.
DOUGLAS CARL FLOREN
Entered 1955
Yale
Doug is one of those young men who unassumingly and con
fidently climb the ladder to success without stepping on anyone’s
toes. The Senior Class’ candidate for Trinity’s Tennis Hall of
Fame, Doug’s personal feelings are not common knowledge be
cause, to date, he has succeeded in preserving the attitude of a
rather contented Sphinx. His blond, disarming smile has tamed
even the Bolducian ogre and hypnotized old ladies into giving
up their seats on the subway. Always polite, Doug is the only
senior who can look Mr. Groebli in the eye without visibly
flinching.
