WILLIAM EDWARD JOHNSON
                                                                          Entered 1949
                                                                              Yale
If an obstacle, either physical or intellectual or supernatural,
can be overcome by sheer force, perseverance, and brawn, it can
be overcome by Bill. It is these qualities that have earned him
the respected position he holds in the school. As the red-typed
Secretary of the Student Council, member of the starting foot
ball team, business manager of the Yearbook, and breaker of
young ladies’ innocent hearts—despite his early inability to de
cide whether he liked the Two Hundred and Fiftieth Class—
his success at Trinity and in future life, to all appearances, has
                                                   been solidly assured.

                                                              LUKE LOUIS IvOSOVICH
                                                                          Entered 1957
                                                                            Columbia
With inexhaustible enthusiasm and an accent that is almost
too funny, Luke has bounced insuppressibly through his years
at T rinity. In many humorous encounters, the mighty Yugoslav
has proven himself far superior to the English language, batter
ing it into complete and senseless surrender. Under the pretext
of learning the language, Luke finds it necessary to fill the school
day with spirited conversation, a fact to which Mr. Danforth
will wearily attest. A veteran soccer player and lady’s man,
Luke has obviously not allowed his continental upbringing to go
                                                   to waste.
