JOHN RUSSELL McALEVEY
                                  Entered 1955
                                    Vermont
John belongs to the popular and ever-increasing non-conform
ist element of the class. During the day he can be seen strolling
leisurely through the halls, pipe in hand and wearing one of his
colorful turtleneck sweaters. However, his nighttime activities
are shrouded in mystery. Mac’s work as school sacristan has
produced many amusing effects and awakened many sleepy read
ers in chapel through the use of Bibles opened to the wrong
page and curtains that stick halfway. Passive unconcern and ■
active interest are his trademarks among the elite society of the
           class.

                   DAVID RUMSEY McGREGOR
                                  Entered 1947
                                     Harvard
Of all the twelve-year men at Trinity, Mac has developed
the least contrasted or bizarre personality. Besides being a sports
writer of some perception, Trinity’s delegate from the Green
Mountain State has also contributed liberally to Trinity’s
musical organizations. “McTavish” managed, however, to keep
his talent on the viola masked until his senior year, when he
demonstrated his skill in assembly. Further research revealed
that he also undergoes painful experiences at a summer rendez
vous in Commington, Massachusetts with a certain anonymous
           young lady of Boston.
