JAMES ROBERT SHAW
                                                                         Entered 1955
                                                                          C. W. Post
Affectionately called “Frog,” Jim makes the daily journey
from the wilds of Bayside. His jolly appearance, cherubic coun
tenance, and prowess in Knock Hockey make him a favorite
center of attraction at lunchtime. His sense of humor brightens
many a dreary moment during Trinity’s athletic endeavors, and
there are no “lost minutes” when Jim operates the basketball
scoreboard. His singing ability is manifested outside of the
Glee Club and thereby, fortunately, is kept out of reach of the
public. However, Jim’s enthusiasm and cheeriness make him a
                                                 motivating force at Trinity.

                                                      ALARIK WENNING S KARST ROM

                                                                         Entered 1947
                                                                            Tufts
For twelve years, Alarik has been best known to his classmates
through his search for the deep and beautiful in life. A diabolical
artist in his own right, A1 writes poetry pulsating with vitality
and nicety. A1 also has a regular column in the Trinity Times,
“Vagaries.” It often leaves the majority of his readers poignantly
puzzled, but they are sure it is brilliant. At school functions of
all sorts, A1 can be seen with a very fashionable young lady
who is usually carrying a copy of some intense, intellectual
book. A1 does not believe in straining himself with the book or,
by the way, in combing bis hair.
