STEVEN GEORGE TRIEDM AN
The Mayor of Margrave’s vivid imagination leads him from Washington D.C. as Kissinger’s
secret aide, to the Kennedy mansion for lunch, to officer on special assignment for "Buddy.” Steve
showed his prowess in athletics during the MB-Lincoln field hockey game, and in his assistance in
coaching the soccer team. In the academic circles, Steve’s boisterous behavior leads to interesting
classes. When the chips are down, Steve admits his friends know they have a real friend when he
gets them front row tickets and has their parking tickets fixed. When Steve is driven out of the
MB Campus in R.I. 10000 for the last time, we will surely miss M .B.’s own Walter Mitty.
SCOTT CONSTANTINE TSAGARAKIS
And there is Scott Tsagarakis every morning in the book store. Don’t bother trying to get a dis
count from Scott, it won’t work. If there was a conservative union at Moses Brown, Scott would be
a charter member (along with Doc). Joe McCarthy was a liberal anyway. You might never guess
how athletic Scott really is, listening to him expound economic theories to Mr. Ward, but there he
is on Saturday morning, hitting golf balls into Bristol harbor. Remember those Saturday morn
ings, Tsag? And that’s not all. In the great Tsagarakis tradition, Scott wields a violent Lacrosse
stick for Coach Curtis and makes sure he stays atop the hockey season. No one knows viewing
pleasure like Scott. Many a weekend Scott can be found in Swan Point with a crew of little old
ladies and a set of binoculars. The mad ornithologist is a true philanthropist.
MICHAEL ALLEN VOCCOLA
If any of us should again hear the old one-liners, "Hello boys, you too Joe,” or "Quiet, here he
comes,” we will probably remember Michael Voccola as the one who made them old. Known as
Mr. Voccola to anyone younger than himself, Michael will always be remembered for his reper
toire of jokes, wise cracks, and generally humorous comments as well as his notorious handshakes.
Class President Mike also has a great business sense, as shown by his continuous get-rich-quick
schemes — from the car appraisal service to the present Rent-a-party, Inc. When Michael finally
leaves Moses Brown he is sure to be successful in whatever he does. (If anyone reading this is
already successful, Mike can be reached at the Voccola national campaign headquarters in Cran
ston, Rhode Island.)
