Last  year  Delhaas  placed  a  com­
                                                                                       pletely  new  idea,  an  all-school
                                                                                       musical, on our agenda of activities.
                                                                                       The  Red  Mill,  written  by  Victor
                                                                                       Herbert,  was  favorably  received  by
                                                                                       large  audiences  both  evenings  it
                                                                                       was  offered.  Much  hard  work  and
                                                                                       never-ending hours of practice made
                                                                                       this  musical  a  huge  success.  With
                                                                                       the  presentation  of  "Red Mill’’,  we
                                                                                       had  the  birth  of  what  is  certain  to
                                                                                       become a Delhaas Tradition.

        Two seniors who had "leads"  in  "Red Mill”  rehearse one of their duets.  Hours of tedious   o  ^ u  ttm  ic a   i
        rehearsal time are required  for each of our musical  productions.  This  is  an  activity which
        requites  the co-operation of dozens  of people in order  to be successful.

































        Dave  Freed  offers  an  excellent  portrayal  of  Sherlock  Holmes,  in  one  Three  chorus  members,  Alan  Beck,  John  Talipsky,  and  Herb
        of the hilarious comedy scenes of "Red Mill.” Amusing comedy scenes  Kreuzberg portray disgusted waiters at William's  Inn.  In  the back­
        and  superb musical  renditions led  to a delightful  evening of entertain­ ground  can  be  seen  the  picturesque  set  which'  added  to  the  tre­
