This year’s all-school picnic,

including dorm students,

commuters, faculty members,

and staff members, was held

on September 23 at Philipe

Park in Safety Harbor. Under

beautiful, clear skies, activities

were quickly under way. A

softball game that pitted the

North against the South was

the first organized activity.

The North started out strong;

but as the game wore on, heat

became a major factor in

determining the South’s joyous

victory. (Or at least that’s what

the North claimed!) Other

activities included rousing

games of soccer, volleyball,

and football, but in almost

everyone’s opinion, the eating

portion of the picnic was the

most enjoyable.

Dr. Godwin delivered a

challenge on faith to close out

a perfect day of food, fun, and

fellowship.
