The Spring Musical underwent a “rebuilding
year” in 2004. Under the new supervision of
Music Director, Ann Foster, and Stage Director,
Margaret Jackins, ‘The Wiz” was selected as this
year’s springtime show. T h e Wiz” takes the age-
old masterpiece, T h e Wizard of Oz,” and gives
it a new twist with funky ballads and jazzy cos­
tumes, bringing the familiar story to another
level. Senior Megan Lynch had the lead as Dor­
othy, and was backed up by an all-star cast of
both upper and lower classmen. The cast was
dedicated and hardworking, meeting as a whole
at least once a week and in focused groups al­
most every afternoon.
