Spring Track 2003 had a very successful season.
They trained all through the winter, and could
often be seen sweating through the hallways or
outside on the frozen ground. Current senior
Cara Jordan lamented the frequency with which
Cross-Country is confused with Track. To em ­
phasize the difference, Cara threw discus last
spring, along with Lauren Kennedy, another tal­
ented track star with skills other than running.
Track, coached by the relentless Mr. Fitzerald,
will have a team just as strong as last year’s, with
similarly outstanding leadership.
