winning. The game itself teaches the
ladies practical principles for life.
Jessica Russell, a sopho­
more guard, understands
the importance of team
unity. "You have to have
complete unity with your
team," she said. "The
most rewarding aspect of
the basketball team is the
unity you feel with your
team out on the court."
Jenny Goodson parallels
basketball with the Chris­
tian walk. "Each game and
each practice is a building
block. While results may
not be seen instanta­
neously, the results will
come. Just like the Chris­
tian life, we need to live
God£ will and the results
will come in God£ time."

"I’d have to say Mr. Carver. His love for the Bible has given me a
new perspective on it, and his love for God and caring for the

about Clearwater?
"I love how Clearwater is really a family atmosphere. The profes­
sors, faculty, and even students are very friendly and care about
how I am doing. The smiling faces, the positive attitudes, and the
encouraging greetings and conversations always brighten my day!'
