Wrestling returned to the winter sports scene at
Moses Brown after an absence of' one year. The posi
tion of coach was filled by the capable and devoted
Mr. John Huntsman, who is known to the wrestlers
as "the Hunter.” The apparent lack of success of the
team can be in part attributed to the lack of attention
and cooperation given to the coach. For a first-year
club, however, the team showed marked improvement
over the year. Peter Burnett was elected captain of
the team in early February, and he did a fine job of
helping "Hunter” during the practice sessions. The
team was comprised mostly of boys who had little
or no previous contact with wrestling. Thus, the
coach had to start almost from "scratch.”
The 1965 team had a 1-6-1 record, which was also
an improvement over last year. The season opened
with a close match at St. George’s—a better perform-
ane than was expected by the coach. Roxbury Latin
handed us a discouraging shutout; a procession of
