JEFFREY ARPAD TOTH
81 Proctor Avenue, East Greenwich, R.E
FORM IV: Cross Country, Swimming, Baseball.
FORM V: Cross Country, Winter Track, Spring Track, 745 Club,
Nature Club.
FORM VI: Letter in Cross Country,' Letter in Winter Track, Letter
in Spring Track, Editor-in-Chief of Mosaic, Quaker, Flying Club,
745 Club, Nature Club.
Tooth became Moses Brown’s man-about-
town suddenly in March when he decided
that solliciting for the Mosaic was more im
portant than listening to passages from
Candy (he had already read it). All he did,
however, was to spread the reputation we
already knew he had—"the scrounge on a
scooter.” Once the biggest under-achiever in
the class (as Mr. Herman will verify), Jeff
blossomed so much this year that his lotus
decided to shed a petal and let it waft back
to study hall. This didn’t phase, Jeff; for
he found just enough time during free
periods to scoot down to Apple Tree Lane,
gulp down some cider, and fly back. He has
really made tracks in Spanish, too, although
he claims that his trips to Block Island to
run for Doc had nothing to do with it.
Arpad saved his greatest shock for spring
vacation; for it was at that time that he and
his hand-picked staff beerly wrapped up the
Mosaic. Then he skipped town for fear that
someone would take off the wrapper and
find the Candy inside!
MARK JOSEPH WARBURTON
Ridge Road, Hardwick, Mass.
FORM IV: Cross Country, Winter Track, Baseball, French Club.
FORM V: Letter in Cross Country, Winter Track, Letter in Lacrosse,
French Club, Rod and Gun Club.
FORM VI: Letter in Cross Country, Letter in Winter Track, Letter in
Spring Track, Glee Club, President of House Council, Inciter of
Boarder Riots.
Markie hails from Hand . . . um Hard
. . . er, oh yeah, Hicksville, Mass. We all
know that the only reason Mark got into
the exclusive (athletes only) Rod and Gun
club was that the faculty advisor would
have someplace to go shoot on weekends.
An avid follower of Sulloway in practically
all events, Mark has proven to be a loyal
member of Doc’s track teams. Each spring,
however, Mark deserts Doc, amid threats
of closed weekends, for lacrosse. Mark is
one of the most popular boys in the board
ing department and in the class for that
natter. He was elected President of the
House Council and he also somehow re
ceived a new "redecorated” room on Doc’s
corridor. Mark has shown that he can excel
in school by making honors in his senior
year. Whenever there is a boarder riot, you
can be sure to find him in the thick of
things. We are all sure that Mark will also
be in the thick of things later on.
