John Symonds will always be remembered
as the playboy of the class of '65. As is com
mon with most prep school playboys, John's
major efforts occur out of school and are
of the nocturnal variety. However, when
ever John has applied himself, he has done
quite well in his school work; yet his de
sires are toward X.K.E., not M:I:T: Even
though John has distinguished himself by
going through three sports cars in one year
and about a girl a week, John has retained
the strange characteristic of being the only
Ferrari on campus. It is rumored that John
joined the football squad because of his
hero-worship of Jim Medoff; but his love
of contact sports obviously entered into the
decision. It will be interesting to see what
career John will pursue because of his
unique personality. John’s words will for
ever ring in our ears: "She was the most
                                        beautiful girl I . . .!”

                                                      ography Club.

Cheval, the U.S.S.R.’s delegate to M.B.,
gaily gallops from class to club meeting with
his trusty briefcase handcuffed to his wrist.
We must agree with Charlie that he is un
failingly right in class; just as "Fax." As
President of the U.N. Club, Charlie has
achieved notoriety for keeping orderly meet
ings. He has a lot of cheek to twitch, al
though it is not too obvious when he is
sitting down. Second only to "Freaky,"
Charlie follows suit by robbing the cradle
for dates, although he at least is justified
because he is so young. Charlie is versatile
                                               too, actor extraordinaire, humorist without
equal, psychologist, and dirty old man. His
athletic prowess and love for the faculty,
                                               especially those ephemeral humanitarians,
                                               make Charlie a well-rounded lad—so well-
rounded, in fact, that he should roll right
                                               into Harvard.
