THEODORE SEDGEWICK WATSON
114 Taber Avenue, Providence 6, R.I.
FORM III: Football, Hockey, Tennis.
FORM IV: Football, Hockey, Tennis.
FORM V: Football, Hockey, Tennis.
FORM IV: Football, Letter in Winter Track, Tennis, 745 Club,
German Literature Club.
There has been a rumor circulating that
a certain senior has been putting his initials,
(identical to those of the eminent head of
the Language Department), at the bottom
of library passes. Actually, Sedge would not
be capable of this deceit; at least he would
not get caught at it. He has obtained a dis
tinction in our class, surpassed only by
Jimbo Giddings. Sedge has retained his quiet
personality, a task not easy to accomplish in
noisy surroundings. Teachers were probably
so glad to have one quiet person in their
classes that they gave him good marks out
of gratitude. One teacher has had a special
affinity for Sedge. T.S. has spent so much
time with Herr Pratt and his German course
that Sedge may be able to stay at M.B. and
teach first-year German from memory. On
weekends Sedge undergoes an amazing
metamorphosis and becomes one of the
wildest guitar players in Rhode Island. (He
may try for a college scholarship for ad
vanced studies in the art of electric guitar
playing.) Sedge wil certainly be a success in
life if he works as hard at'everything else
as he does at his musical talents.
DAVID RUTTER WETZEL
6311 Dahlonega Road, Washington, D.C.
FORM I: Letter in Football, Letter in Basketball, Letter in Lacrosse,
Flying Club, Tutoring, Ringer Club.
Dave Wetzel has made an outstanding
name for himself in athletics in his one
year at Moses Brown. Because of this ability,
Dave receives many letters each day from
colleges. Dave even received a letter from
Pomfret; however, word leaked out that this
was not a scholarship offer, but merely a
thank-you note. Dave has also distinguished
himself as a hard-working student. Though
he did not win the Seth K. and Mary A.
Gifford Prize for Excellence in Scholarship,
he did win the Tony Rotelli Essay Award on
"Our Native Fog." But in spite of his one
great year here, Dave will not miss the
boarding department when he is back in
Washington, walking hand and hand with
Nori this summer. Dave will long be re
membered as a member in good standing of
the Class of ’65, and we wish him the best
of luck in whatever he undertakes.
