The baseball season got off to a late

start because of the success of the

men’s basketball team. Several play­

ers were on both teams, and because

the basketball team pulled some ma­

jor upsets at the District Champion­

ships in Toccoa Falls, Georgia and

went onto Nationals, the baseball

schedule had to be altered slightly in

order for the returning players to be­
