uled Christian service

activity. The students become “doers

of the Word, and not hearers only.”

The program encourages the devel­

opment of lasting habits of serving the

Lord in local churches and strength­

ens the students’ ability to witness

effectively to the lost world. Many

students have changed their ideas

concerning their future occupations

as a result of the blessings and ed­

ucation they received while on Chris­

tian service.

The local church is one source of

several methods of fulfilling one’s

Christian Service requirement. There

are also nursing homes in the area and

a very active detention center min­

istry. Mr. Brian Johnson assists stu­

dents in finding an appropriate place

in which to serve the Lord.
