"The best thing about the trip
was the bus driver, no really the
Grand Ole Opry was the most
interesting," said senior Jennifer

Commented senior Cindy

The band saw a laservision
and planetarium show, but who
could go to Nashville and not see
the Grand Ole Opry; not the band.
The band went to Nashville for
the International Music Festival
and received a four rating which
director Allan Amandus said was
average for this contest. The
contest has been going on for 12

is rated against all the bands that
have been there in the past.
Amandus also said, " . . . I don't

band) on your performance but
also on your behavior. I would take
you anywhere."
Amandus will have the
chance to hold his comment true
because the band received a
special invitation to play in the
Cotton Bowl Parade next New
Year's Day in Dallas, Texas.
Said senior Laura Jean Ekdahl,
"This really made my senior year."
