At Right, Student Council President Tim Pabst settles
an agreement with Mr. John Doyle of the Fathers'
Club and defenseman Lou Nanne of the Minnesota
North Stars, which netted the Academy over $8,500.
The Student Council sponsored the North Stars —
Detroit Red Wings game at M etropolitan Sports
Center. Later Council undertakings included Christ­
mas basket collections for needy St. Paul families
and a Christmas party for underprivileged children,
as well as social events such as the S.T.A. W inter
Carnival. Below, Pabst sells tickets to the Pep Rally
mixer, the first of several Student Council mixers
during the year. In addition to these dances, the
Council staged Homecoming week, the Regimental
Dinner Dance, and the Military Ball.
