The chess team under the
direction of Mr. Sylvester Turbes
had their most successful year in
STA history. Sparked by their
undefeated first board Don Dit­
ter, the chess team managed to
win their division and place very
high in the state meet. O ther
starting members in the order of
point totals were Doug Treb ­
toske, Bob Beer, Herb Lentsch,
and Dale Cumming.
The Biologians is an academic
organization that deals with
deeper investigation of Biology.
M em bership in the Biologians
requires a 90% average in Biolo­
gy. With the aid of moderator
Fred Gatto the members gain a
better insight into the intracacies
of Biology.
