The Debate, Speech and Stu­
dent Congress teams, under the
leadership of Jeff Beissel and with
the assistance of moderator David
Anderson, com piled a winning
record in over 400 rounds of de­
bate. Many capable and talented
cadets received top awards in the
Student Congress; Jeff Beissel was
named Chairm an of the House
and best speaker, John Sullivan
was Chairman of the Senate, and
John Crow ley was named best
speaker of his House. Largely an
underclassman group, the team
can be expected to do equally
well in the coming years.
Directed by Mr. Ralph Thaem-
litz, the photo Club experienced a
building year. The Photo Club,
led by junior Greg Silvas, supplied
pictures for the Kaydet and the
Citation. This means many hours
after school spent developing and
enlarging photos.
