Dll Out, All Season
Fear The JV and Reserve Rams!
T
-L he JV and reserve football teams ended with winning records this year! The JV
team was 4-3 and the reserve team was 3-2. The players' hard work and determination
lead to successful seasons full of learning experiences.
The freshman game against Skutt seemed to be the highlight of the season according
to freshman Coach Albert who says, “My proudest moment this year was the Skutt game
because they’re a good program with good players at all levels, it made our record 3-2 and
we had less mistakes than the first four games.”
Many of the successful qualities that the teams showed this year were influenced by
the varsity team particularly from the seniors. Freshman, Caden Corcoran says, “The
qualities that stood out the most this season from my team would definitely be the
leadership coming from the senior class.” A lot of the JV players also play on the varsity
team meaning that the lessons learned from playing on varsity can be passed down to
younger players. “Heart and friendship were huge qualities that stood out this year and we
played hard,” exclaims Noah Talmadge. The success that the boys showed this year could
mean our varsity team will continue to improve over the next few years.
Helmets Up! The freshmen boys celebrate a win against South Sioux, with the final score 4S~28. "The best advice I
learned from a coach was to keep your head up and not stress the small things," says Corcoran.
