The color guard presents
the flags at the 2002 Veterans’
Day Patriotic Program. Peter St.
John, Ethan Greene, Gabriel
Wetlesen, and Benjamin White
were involved in the Air Force
ROTC at the University of South
Florida in Tampa.
Every col
lege has
its own
d i s t i n c -
tives, but
Clearwater
has one
that no
other Christian college has-its own
Ronald MacDonald. Dr. Mac
Donald (affectionately called Pas
tor Mac) first planned the Patriotic
program as an outreach to the
senior citizens in the community.
It is now presented also in chapel
for the student body on Veteran's
Day. Pastor Mac, who lives on the
east coast with his wife Millie,
works directly with Dr. Stratton in
the area of church relations.
The C learw ater Christian
College choir is under direction
of Dr. Pattye Casarow, the new
music professor. They first sang,
“Pledge Allegiance to America’’
and “My Country Tis of Thee”,
before joining the orchestra in
“Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
