R ebecca N orris, B ethany
Akins, and Rebecca Lobdell took
full advantage of the free pizza
offered after the cruise around
Tampa Bay. Lobdell commented,
“It is always fun at the beginning
of the year reuniting with old
friends and meeting new ones.
One of the highlights of the week
was going on the cruise around
the bay!”
Amy Holland from
Salt Lake City said, "1
chose Clearwater af
ter a lot of prayer and
searching for God's
will. I felt this was
where God wanted
me. During opening
week, we played dodge ball and other games
that forced us to meet people. The upper
classmen were so friendly, making sure that
1 was always comfortable and helping the
more timid freshmen get acquainted. After
getting settled and making a lot of new
friends, I felt reassured that this was the place
that God wanted me to be and that good
things would come of it."
Dave Brooks, president of
SGC and a member of student
senate said, “Arriving at school
early this year was the best deci
sion I have ever made. I learned a
lot from the meetings with Dr.
Stratton and Mr. Trainer.”
