                                                              The  1964  Mosaic  was  a  comedy  of  errors.  The  book  had,
                                                            at  one  time  or  another,  about  half  a  dozen  different  photo
                                                           editors,  but  ended  up  with  none.  Photography  was  always
                                                            quite  a  problem;  if  the  editors  had  been  unable  to  keep
                                                           Fain  up  to  ungodly  hours  printing  pictures,  the  yearbook
                                                           might  never  have  come  out  at  all.  Sometimes  the  usual
                                                           process  of  exposing,  developing,  contacting,  and  printing
                                                           got  so  bogged  down  that  the  editors  grabbed  a  Polaroid  and
                                                            took  things  into  their  own  hands.  Chaos  on  the  corridors  be­
                                                           cause  of  an  unco-operative  Delphian  editor  and  an  unsym­
                                                           pathetic  master  were  the  inevitable  result.  But  whenever  the
                                                           pictures  were  ready,  the  text  was  not;  Runci  still  cringes
                                                           when  Licht  or  Lisker  walks  by.  Maybe  Licht  had  the  right
      Really,  Licht!  You  don’t  think  I’ll  fall  for  that?
                                                           idea  when  he  skipped  off  to  Florida  .  .  .
