This year's class officers didn't
start the year off with a bang. They
weren’t giving the students con
stant opportunity for fun projects
to enjoy. The class officers said
they just didn’t have any ideas for
projects this year. "If they would
have had lots of stuff to do they
would have done it," said Tim
Garofolo, Sophomore Class Vice-
President.
The job of the class officers is
to “organize events for our class
and to try to make our class have
more spirit,” Wendy Huntington,
Junior Class President said. When
asked why there weren't as many
class sponsored activities, Sopho
more Class Vice-President Tim
Garofolo answered, “ I think a lot of
it gets done by SGO.”
There were many projects that
were attempted and failed, and also
projects that were a success this
year. The Sophomore and Junior
classes tried to have class t-shirts,
but they never went through. "Only
one person ordered the Junior t-
shirt," said Huntington. The senior
class seemed to have the most ac
tivities. They had class t-shirts, a
class banquet and had a class pic
ture taken in the gym that any
senior could purchase.
This year was also different
from the past three in that there
were no class meetings except for
the graduation announcements pre
sentation for seniors. Amie
Vignaroli, Senior Class President,
said "It’s too hard to get everyone
in, seated, quiet and make the pre
sentation in 13 minutes.”
