Have you ever stopped to think
who does the work of compiling
the information you are currently
reading? These words didn’t just
jump onto this page or appear from
wavinga magic wand. Actually these
words were the finished product of
hard work and time put forth by the
Ram Yearbook staff. Seventeen
newcomers comprised this year’s
Rampages/ Yearbook staff, many of
whom had never taken a previous
journalism class.
This year there was a higher
studentturnoutfor Rampages/Y ear-
book staffs than in the past. “People
need to understand how important
the yearbook is,” said s
Senior Editor Pat Egger. Rampages
Sports Editor Chad Lorenz agreed,
“Once people know how fun Ram
pages is, then they will be more
willing to get involved.”
Over the past 3 years our
school has had a video yearbook. In
fact, Ralston was the pioneer school
in Nebraska for video yearbooks.
Unfortunately, the yearbook staff
decided not to make one this year.
When asked why Lorenz replied,”
This year there wasn’t enough com
bined dedication to do a video year

five people could cover the 900
plus people in school.”
To better accommodate stu
dents’ busy schedules, a lunch hour
