On the cool Saturday evening of October the 4th,
an elegant evening in Paris began at Ralston High
School. For many couples it all began with dinner at
local restaurants, then on to the dance for an extravagant
and unpredictable night. The dance began at eight
o'clock, but most couples arrived fashionably late at nine
and nine-thirty.
The D.J. was a little controversial. "The D.J. was
awesome!" freshman Brenda Stanek stated, while others
disagreed. Junior Jill Zagozda decided that the D.J.
could have been better.
Throughout the evening Studio 120 photographed
couples in the decorated theater. "Waiting in line for
pictures took excitement away from the dance," junior
Lisa Marie Andersen commented.
Although the picture lines were long and the cafete
ria was colder than the outside, it didn't change the spirit
and excitement the RHS students felt about Homecom
ing. The most memorable and best parts of Homecom
ing were getting dressed up and "seeing all of our
friends with their dates," said junior Lisa M. Andersen.
As for the most common overall thought of the dance
- unforgettable!
