                                                                               On the cool Saturday evening of October the 4th,
                                                                       an elegant evening in Paris began at Ralston High
                                                                       School.  For many couples it all began with dinner at
                                                                       local  restaurants,  then on to the dance for an extravagant
                                                                       and  unpredictable night.  The dance began at eight
                                                                       o'clock,  but most couples arrived  fashionably late at nine
                                                                       and nine-thirty.
                                                                           The D.J. was a little controversial.  "The D.J. was
                                                                       awesome!"  freshman Brenda Stanek stated,  while others
                                                                       disagreed.  Junior Jill Zagozda decided that the D.J.
                                                                       could have been better.
                                                                           Throughout the evening Studio 120 photographed
                                                                       couples in the decorated theater.  "Waiting in line for
                                                                       pictures took excitement away from the dance," junior
                                                                       Lisa Marie Andersen commented.
                                                                           Although the picture lines were long and the cafete­
                                                                       ria was colder than the outside, it didn't change the spirit
                                                                       and excitement the RHS students felt about Homecom­
                                                                       ing.  The most memorable and best parts of Homecom­
                                                                       ing were getting dressed up and "seeing all of our
                                                                       friends with their dates," said junior Lisa M. Andersen.
                                                                          As for the most common overall thought of the dance
                                                                       -  unforgettable!
