LOVE IN THE AIR.
On a chilly February 14th evening, love was in the air.
Criss Cross started at 8:30 p.m., but for many couples it started
with dinner at local restaurants. Some couples went straight
home after the dance, while a few couples and their friends
stayed out all night.
The decorations were a favorite with all those who
attended. "I liked the floating trees," said junior Tena Neill.
Freshman Molly Korgie said that the decorations "made it feel f
like Valentine's Day".
This year, Criss Cross brought in some changes. For the
first time, there was a Criss Cross week. It was somewhat like
Homecoming week, but with a slipper day and a cross dressing
day.
Even though the picture lines were long, it didn't ruin
the evening. Most people thought it was really fun and enjoyed
