Ralston High School's wrestli team
and begins the new year with a bang. With
determination and skill, they have won many meets
victoriously and suffered few losses with grace.
Jacob Cutsor says, "I feel disappointed and that I
didn't try my best when we lose a meet or when I lose
a match." When it comes to Ralston's wrestling team,
it's all about teamwork and sportsmanship, because it's
what makes them best.
Take it from Josten Estremera, JV wrestling
member, who when is asked about the teams' strengths
said, "We work great together."
Although they have many strengths, Cutsor says,
"We could have more fun just winning or losing."
Win or lose though, those who do wrestling believe
it's a strenuous sport. Estremera said, "Prepare for a
lot of running," and Cutsor said, "It's the toughest
sport there is but you should definitely think about
doing it."
From nosebleeds to rough practices Ralston's
wrestling team is always committing to excellence one
pin at a time.
Staying Focused. Shane
Kildow pins down his
opponent, focusing on
staying on top.
