Senior Seth Maynard was
one of the top returning
players of the year. Seth
was the point guard for the
Cougars and one of the
team captains.
The men and women
basketball teams fought
their hardest right until the fi
nal second. Both teams qualified for the semi-final rounds of
the regional tournament.
The men’s team fought hard during the regionals,
scoring three hundred points in three games and only giv
ing up two hundred and sixty one. Several players received
awards for their efforts. Senior Seth Maynard won the Coach’s
Award; senior Mark Whitehead won the Best Defensive Play
ers Award; sophomore feremy Ham received the Best Of
