In the fall of 1950 Cranston High lost "the great
est back in Rhode Island” when John Vallone de
cided to come to Moses Brown. Although a nine-
letter man, John is retiring and polite at all times.
Ushered into office in the much disputed "Election
of ’52,” John has been class president once and is
chief of the bushes. He seems to have applied to
every college in the country.

In our third form year the boarding department
was invaded by a rebel. Dick Walls had come all the
way from Atlanta, Georgia, to follow in the footsteps
of his older brother, Skip, ’52. Now that Dick is in
his senior year at Moses Brown, one can find that
girl’s name written almost everywhere on the campus
