In the fall of 1950 Cranston High lost "the great
est back in Rhode Island” when John Vallone de
cided to come to Moses Brown. Although a nine-
letter man, John is retiring and polite at all times.
Ushered into office in the much disputed "Election
of ’52,” John has been class president once and is
chief of the bushes. He seems to have applied to
         every college in the country.
