                                                                 Only five remain of  those  who entered  Miss  East­
                                                               man’s first grade in  1943 . . . one of Mr. Allen’s "pet”
                                                               spellers .  .  .  went on  to achieve his highest marks  in
                                                               mathematics  .  .  .  achieved,  moreover,  his  greatest
                                                               recognition as hard working manager and chief brain
                                                               in  the  gymnasium.  However,  he  has  some  strange
                                                               characteristics, so Army has kept him locked up in a
                                                               cage for the past three years.

              1952,  that’s  a  magic date  for  Steve  Perry;  in  this
           year  he  entered  Moses  Brown  School.  Having  sur­
           vived  the  strains  and  toils  of  the  second  and  third
           forms, he went on to bigger and better things as  an
           upper former. He gained a top position on the swim­
           ming  team;  he  became  quite  proficient  in  the  sci
           ences. But above all he gained an intellectual
           at M. B.
