Captain Fred, who kept in condition for cross
country this summer by running from pullet to pullet,
is an authority on the breeding of sexdinked broilers
which keep Mr. Meserve plentifully supplied with
eggs. It is rumored that Fred’s high spirits were partly
responsible for the cross country team’s good showing
this fall.
