T * omorrow should be partly cloudy
^ with a high of 68° F , with a
30% chance of rain.”
A normal
April day?
( wir-fo WhftMTH ) No, this was
the weather
report heard
very often
during
November,
December, and even January.
The highest temperature this winter
was 73° F compared to 43°F of the
year before.
The warm weather prevented the
white Christmas that most people were
used to, but the Christmas traditions
were still carried on at Ralston.
FBLA took handicapped children
Christmas shopping, and to see Santa
Claus at the Westroads.
Christmas parties were held in
classes, and presents exchanged
between students.
Classes broke out of the regular
routine by holding classes outside in
the sun, to try to get a tan.
Even though the temperature outside
reached record highs, the temperature
inside reminded everyone that it was
still winter.
Telling Santa how good they had been, was an important
time for the eleven handicapped children FBLA took
Christmas shopping After seeing Santa they went back to their
school to unwrap the presents.
Taking a break from class, seniors Connie Krambeck and Lisa
Houck and juniors Tina Castlenova and Julie Peterson try to get
a tan during seventh hour art class.
