Exploration History
Newcrest completed a follow up gravity survey (survey area of
1990's Early Newcrest Exploration 2.0 km x 2.9 km) in 1992 that identified a 0.2 mGal anomaly
coincident with the previously defined magnetic anomaly.

The observed geology led to Havieron being considered a skarn-related
system. 1
