Abstract

The study of development driving of the electric vehicle industry in Eastern Economic

Corridor (EEC), the study on National Industrial Development Master Plan under 20 years

national strategy in the Eastern Economic Corridor by studying the secondary data and

conducting in-depth interviews with whom concerned. It was found that the 2018-2022
assessment according to the key performance indicator targets, there was 1 failed evaluation

metric and 1 pass evaluated metrics and the results of a study on the problem conditions

driving the development of the electric vehicle industry in the Eastern Economic, it was found

that the overall problem condition is the problem of infrastructure being insufficient, demand,

supply and other related issues, consisting of 14 problems.

The study has recommendations for the Ministry of Energy and related agencies which

can be classified into the practical recommendation of 4 activities and policy
recommendations for 8 activities. For Example, the activities to promote investment in

infrastructure, activities to promote the installation of electric charging stations for electric

vehicles in government buildings and various public places, activities to increase the

government's demand for electric vehicles and related, and activities to incentivize the use of

electric vehicles for tax purposes and others, etc.
