Present Check to
Benefi t Rochester
General Breast
Center
Period three peer ministers recently presented
Rochester General Breast Center with a check for
$535. Th e donation came from proceeds raised by
two mission collections held in October in honor of
breast cancer awareness month.
Kaysia Hart, the Rochester General Breast Center
intern who accepted the check, also happens to be
a 2014 graduate of Th e Aquinas Institute. She is
currently a student at SUNY Brockport with a dual
major in Communication Studies and Spanish.
“It’s kind of surreal to come back [to Aquinas] in a
professional capacity,” said Kaysia. “For me to be able
to bring together this organization and the school
that’s part of my heart is amazing.”
