Raspberry Golf Trail ~ Have Trail Will Travel

                                                Nick Ciattei

The Raspberry Golf Trail continues to be one of the most popular and successful
player’s cards in the mid-Atlantic. Closing in on 10 years, the Raspberry Golf Trail
has grown to include many of the must-play, upscale daily-fee courses in our
region. Since its inception, the trail card has had a simple concept and the same
price for golfers to join. You pay a one-time-only $5 fee that makes you a member
for life. Now that you have the card, just play three different trail courses of your
choice at that course’s normal price for that day. Once you have completed that,
you can then redeem a free round at any of those three facilities. Your credits carry
over year to year, which is one great thing about the trail card. So you do not need
to rush to rescue that free round late in the golf year. All 18 of the current courses
that make up the Raspberry Golf Trail lineup lie within a 200-mile radius and make
for perfect day trips. What could be better than playing hooky for the day to play
one of our area’s best golf courses?

While 2016 delivers five new courses
to the Raspberry Golf Trail, none
bring more pop than Bulle Rock.
North of Baltimore in Havre De Grace
and just off I-95, this golf course has
been rated the #1 course in Maryland
almost since its opening in 1998.
Having hosted an LPGA major and
ranked among the Top 100 of most
                  major golf publications, Bulle Rock,
a Pete Dye masterpiece, was named
Bulle Rock after the first thoroughbred horse

brought to America. The course has great routing with a great mix of terrific holes.
If it’s a true world-class feel that you want with impeccable course conditions and
amenities, look no further than Bulle Rock Golf Course.

Situated on the west side of I-95 in
                  Harford County sits Mountain Branch
                  Golf Club. This semi-private golf
course has become a regional favorite
with a challenging and fun design laid
out on 264 acres of parkland beauty.
                  Mountain Branch features drivable
par 4s, split fairways, rolling greens,
                  rock and water features, breathtaking
views, and all to only be outdone by
                  fantastic course conditions. Another
Mountain Branch course that’s an easy access just two

miles off the main highway, Mountain Branch in Joppa delivers the ultimate golf
and entertainment experience with a popular restaurant, grille, and pub to complete
