City of Tshwane NMT Strategy The current Richards Bay Airport is a regional airport that operated under a
concessionaire. The motivation to relocate the airport relates to its current
Drakenstein CITP inaccessibility and the limited growth potential.
Development of a Strategic The objective of the prefeasibility study was to identify any technical (land use,
