with the National Business Education standards. There are numerous resources, strategies, structures,

and collaboration available that I will need to learn and take advantage of. In our recent professional

development we were introduced to the Kagen Structures (http://www.kaganonline.com/). These

structures focus on cooperative learning. The presenter of the professional development suggested that

when implementing the new structures into the classroom, use baby steps. It’s not as important to

incorporate a bunch of different strategies but rather use one, and use it well. This is a process that I

intend to adopt for managing change.
